MERIDA has started a voluntary recall of the S-PRESSO model. This recall concerns all MERIDA S-PRESSO models manufactured in 2008, 2009 and 2010. The steerer tube of the fork can break in the recalled models, and this can result in a crash with severe injuries.

New, improved FORKS will be available at the end of October.

For this reason, use of the bikes in question should be discontinued immediately.

Please contact your MERIDA dealer as soon as possible and arrange an appointment for free replacement of the defect steerer tube. New, improved steerer tubes will be available at the end of October.

Короче, если у вас S-Presso 2008-2010 гг выпуска, то бегом обратно в магазин, желательно не своим ходом. Объявлен отзыв велосипедов этой модели - может сломаться шток вилки.
